The tribe spontaneously celebrated Naked Wednesday with a bath and with some dancing. It felt all nostalgic, so perhaps we’ll have a few more revivals in the future.

SL21B is starting and the Amazon have a great jungle installation there. The tribe have been active there, talking, welcoming people, relaxing with body paint, fishing and dancing.
Today we performed our Goat Ritual and many people came both from the Amazon as well as visitors from SL21B.
Bubba Held a great welcome speech and after the ceremony there was dancing and relaxing.
Bubba Oh: “As the oldest elder, among the Taiprapé tribe – it always falls to me, to give a speech on such occasions – as when the tribe invites the jungle to partake in our traditions…”
Bubba Oh: “Today we are not only inviting the jungle – but also the wider Second World”
Bubba Oh: “We stand here in the fire land to make ourselves known!”
Bubba Oh: “And to be a beaming torch to let our jungle be known far and wide!”
Bubba Oh: He puffs out his chest very self satisfied
Bubba Oh: “We the Tapirape are the first among equals – the backbone of the Jungle!”
Bubba Oh: “Thus it is only natural it fall to US – yes US to open this embassy!”
Bubba Oh: “Honored Banana – Venerable Monk! Esteemed Seekers!”
Bubba Oh: “Friends and foe alike!”
Bubba Oh: “I welcome you to partake in our SACRED RITUAL!”
Bubba Oh: Nods, and shuffles off the stage

Today we had an impromptu birthday party for our Elder Kwanita, visited by both friends and frenemies.

Because miss Eve had returned from Florida the tribe decided to clean the Native bar and throw a small party.
No dogs were eaten during the celebrations
Several Tapi’s led by the Shaman went to visit Chaos, deliver a goat to them, and dance… Chaos were not home, but we left the goat there and hope they don’t bathe in the puddle Nevuno had an accident in.
Today we had the initiation for Ryanny and Cor. As usual it was a great and special day when we make a brother and sister a full Tapi and celebrate them wanting to become part of our family.
Today was the 2nd tribe meeting of this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there has been a delay in meetings so it was good seeing so many come and participate. A summery will be sent out to the group.
Again this year, the Tapi hosted the Carnival Flotilla event. It was one of the most attended ever and the floats were more creative than ever.
Sunisa and Tytanica shared first place and our tapi Akela got 3rd place for his amazing Phoenix float. Kart deserves special mention for his very explicit float!
Akela (AkelaZayev Resident) smiles and shouts to the assembled People of the Amazon, “My float is inspired by rebirth from fire. This place, the Amazon.. and particularly my beloved Tribe, the Tapirape…. who took me in were a rebirth for me. The fire in my float is represented by countless petals, flowers and feathers gathered from the bountiful Amazon.”
He glances around at all the smiling faces, “Being new to my Tribe and the Amazon, this place is a chance at rebirth… Especially after the Trials hidden in the jungle… I feel as if I’m coming out of the ashes. I’m sure this is the case with many of the People of the Amazon who find themselves here, in this amazing, wondrous place.
Kart (Kedorlaomer1966 Resident) shouts: I am a proud member of the Tapirape tribe, and we worship the true gods of the jungle. (sidelooks to sunisa )
Without fertility . there would be no humans in the jungle , no plants and no animals .
I am so deeply impressed by the gods and especially by Mama Allpa our mother, so I want to honor her here and make her happy with my decoration . My float shows the bubbling abundance of nature and the gods. The messy overflow , Mother nature gives us all day and nightsThe penetrating power that permeates everything,
My costume itself shows the colorful diversity that Mama Allpa gives us and the blue of the children who are truly loved by the gods.

Today, Tapi and friends jumped on a party float and sailed around the Amazon advertising tomorrows grand float parade.
Today was the blessing of Mila, Mina’s daughter in which Kart took the place of spiritfather for Mila.
Many brothers, sisters and friends of the tribe came to withness and help celebrate and after the blessing, the tribe witch, Belleniko, treated everyone to relaxing blindfolded goat water dance..
