Masks, Memories and Micke’s Naked Wednesday

This Wednesday, Micke had arranged a Day of the Dead treasure hunt, with masks hidden around the jungle. He told us the stories of eight ancestors, each with a clue to a place they had loved during their lives.
There was Yawi, who loved blue butterflies, and Aru, who hunted jaguars. Grandma Tama enjoyed the water slide, while Kanu searched for the legendary phoenix. We also learned about Naira and her children, Suma’s prayers to the God of Winds, Tupa’s growing family, and Maku’s memories of an old path and its fallen bridge.
With Micke’s clues to guide us, we headed out to find the masks and visit these places in memory of the ancestors. Thank you Micke for arranging another fun Naked Wednesday!
